Men's Swim & Dive Drops Dual to Harvard

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving earned four event wins but the Bears fell to Harvard 182-118 inside the Coleman Aquatics Center on Friday afternoon (Jan. 17).
The Bears began the day with the team of Marton Nagy, Jack Kelly, Christopher Zhang and Jonathan Gim winning the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:29.09.
Marcus Lee earned a win in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:38.65. Nagy followed that up with a win in the 100 backstroke with a time of 49.69. Nagy also added a second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:00.63).
Matt Williamson's time of 4:30.98 earned him a win in the 500 freestyle.
Zhang placed second in both the 50 free (20.43) and 100 free (44.69). Christian Duetoft took second in the 1000 freestyle (9:25.46). Harrison Powe finished second in the 100 breaststroke (56.09). Jack Kelly took second in the 100 butterfly (49.52) and Jack Maron was second in the 400 IM (4:00.30).
Rowland Lawver continued his strong performance this year, finishing second in both the 1-meter (351.38) and 3-meter (384.68) events.
UP NEXT
Brown will close out its Ivy dual meet season as the Bears will host Cornell on Saturday, Jan. 25.
