Women's Hockey's Silva Adams to be Inducted into Women's Beanpot Hall of Fame

BOSTON – Brown women's hockey goalie/assistant coach Erika Silva Adams is set to be inducted into the Women's Beanpot Hall of Fame as an alumna of the Northeastern women's hockey team.
The ceremony will take place during the first intermission of the Dunkin' Women's Beanpot Championship game, which will be held at the TD Garden in Boston on January 21.
Silva Adams joined Brown this season as the Bears' goalie coach and had a stellar career at Northeaster between the pipes. Silva was named ECAC Goalie of the Year and All-ECAC in her final season at Northeastern as well as finishing as a top-10 finalist for the Patty Kazmaier award for the 2000-01 season.
Silva Adams is one of four goaltenders to win the Bertagna award twice for her Beanpot performances, and one of only three goaltenders to win it in back-to-back years in 2000 and 2001. She is the first-ever recipient of the Bertagna award, the honor given to the top goaltender in the Beanpot.
