Ella Weil Earns Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Ella Weil of the Brown women's soccer team picked up Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Weil scored the game-winning goal in her first-ever Ivy League contest in Brown's 2-1 win over Harvard (Sept. 28).
Since entering the starting lineup against Northeastern (Sept. 19), Weil has scored three goals and has seven points. Weil also helped Brown earn a 6-1 win at Northeastern with two goals and one assist.
Weil's four goals ranks fourth in the Ivy League and first on the Bears while her nine points also ranks fourth in the Ivy League and first on the Bears.
Weil and the Bears sit at 1-0 in Ivy League play and will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 5 when they travel to Princeton, kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
