Field Hockey Hosts #10 Harvard

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Bears (2-4, 1-0 Ivy) return home to host 10th-ranked Harvard Crimson (5-1, 1-0) at Goldberger Family Field on Saturday, Sept. 28 to continue conference play.
The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Katie McCallum leads the Bears offensive charge with three goals so far, Mia Karine Myklebust and Lexi Pellegrino (2 goals) follow close behind.
- Defensively, Julia Hitti holds down the house, most recently recording two defensive saves against #4 Ohio State on Sunday.
- Kylee Del Monte has started all six games posting a .644 save percentage and 2.48 goals against average.
- Harvard jumped to #10 seed in NFHCA polls this week, dropping from #8 seed last week.
- Harvard's offense averages 3.17 goals per game as Lara Beekhuis leads the Crimson with four goals and nine points, Emily Guckian and Kate Oliver (3 goals) close behind.
- Defensively, Harvard allows 1.17 goals per game with goalkeeper Tessa Shahbo posting a 1.24 goals against average and a .727 save percentage. Shahbo has started five games for the Crimson.
- Friday marks the 52nd meeting between Brown and Harvard in a series dating back to 1973. Harvard holds a 31-12-8 overall series record against Brown and have won eight straight games.
