PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's soccer team was named the No. 38 soccer program in the nation over the past five seasons by SoccerWire.
The Bears were also named the top Ivy League program in the rankings, Princeton was ranked No. 40 and Harvard came in at No. 46.
Rankings are based on their average position in end-of-season rankings. Rankings are based on a combination of final United Soccer Coaches Polls and Rating Percentage Index (RPI) from each season, with bonuses awarded for NCAA Tournament qualification and College Cup victories.
RPI measures each team's performance weighted against their strength of schedule, with wins over quality opponents playing a key role.
