Women’s Lacrosse Sets Single-Season Points, Goals and Assists Record in Senior Day Win

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown (10-5, 3-4 Ivy) tied a program record in today's 23-17 victory over Cornell (7-8, 2-5 Ivy) as the Bears won their 10th game of the season on Saturday at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
The 10 wins tie for most wins in a season (fifth time and first since the 1997 season). Mia Mascone shattered the single season goals mark, finishing today with six goals for 62 on the year. The previous record was 60, set in 1991 by Suzanne Bailey. Mascone added four assists for 10 points. Her 36 assists in 2024 rank third in program history. She entered the weekend leading the nation with 6.29 points per game.
As a team, the 244 goals this season and 127 assists breaks a record held since 2018 (also points) and 1986, respectively.
Greta Criqui finished with six goals for 46 on the year, tied for sixth-most in a season. Annie Burton added two goals and three assists (five points) for 38 assists on the season, second most in single season history. Her 59 points this season tie for seventh-most in a single campaign.
Marley Wright added two goals and Beth Anderson collected a goal and an assist. Margaret Woodberry earned the win after making two saves in the first half.

- A dominating opening quarter featured 10 opening-quarter goals for Brown and an eight-goal advantage after 15 minutes.
- Cornell chipped away but Brown held a 13-10 edge at the half.
- Mascone set the single season goal record in the third period as the Bears offense combined for six goals in the quarter.
