Mascone Named IWLCA Division I Offensive Player of the Week

NORTHBOROUGH, Ma. – Brown's Mia Mascone continued to add weekly accolades as the senior was named Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Mascone received Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors for a league-leading fourth time yesterday. Mascone collected five goals and six assists at No. 14 Penn to shatter the single-season points record at Brown (held since 1986).
Mascone enters Senior Weekend with 88 points – 56 goals and 32 assists. Her 56 goals are tops in the Ivy as are her 88 points and 6.29 points per game. She ranks in the top 10 nationally in points, points per game, goals and goals per game, leading the nation in points per game.
Mia ranks second with 4.00 goals per contest and fifth with 2.29 assists/game.
In Saturday's contest at nationally-ranked Penn, Mascone tied her career-high of 11 points, set earlier this season in the win over Bryant.
