Four Wrestlers Advance to Second Day at EIWA's

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Sophomore Michael Joyce and juniors Blake Saito and Hunter Adrian have secured their spots in the top eight ot the 2024 EIWA Championships, while sophomore Alex Semenenko has advanced to Saturday for ninth place.

At 125, Joyce won two matches on Friday, defeating Eric Howe from Franklin & Marshall (MD 12-1) and Drew Heethuis from Princeton (DEC 14-7).

Wrestling at 133, Adrian took three matches. He won against Kaelan Francois of LIU (TF 15-0), Brendan Ferretti of Navy (MD 15-6) and Mason Leiphart from Franklin & Marshall (MD 11-1).

At 157, Saito secured wins against Cater Bear from Binghamton (DEC 10-3) and Princeton's Rocco Camillaci (DEC 5-0).

Semenenko defeated Vincent Mueller from Columbia (FALL 1:37).

UP NEXT
Brown closes the EIWA Championships on Saturday at Bucknell. Joyce, Adrian and Saito will wrestle for spots in the NCAA Championships.
