
Five-Time All-American Michael Kemerer Completes Wrestling Coaching Staff

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Jordan Leen, the Marvin Wilenzik '56 Head Coaching Chair for Brown Wrestling has announced the addition of five-time All-American Michael Kemerer to complete the coaching staff.
"I am excited to join the Brown wrestling family! The trajectory of the program continues to grow, and I look forward to contributing," said Kemerer.
Kemerer is the first five-time All-American in the history of Iowa wrestling and was an NCAA finalist in 2021. Kemerer also shined off the mat as a four-time NWCA Scholar Athlete and six-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
"I could not be more excited about the addition of Michael Kemerer! He is the final piece to what is now one of the more impressive staffs in the county," said Leen. "He is an elite wrestling mind, and the perfect fit for our program."
Most recently, Kemerer served as Resident Athlete at Spartan Combat RTC, a world-class training outfit in Ithaca, N.Y., where he also assisted with coaching.
