Two Records Fall on Day Two of 2024 Ivy Men’s Swim and Dive Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Brown University saw two program records fall on day two of the 2024 Ivy League Men's Swim and Dive Championships Thursday in Blodgett Pool. Andrew Berzolla set a new mark in the 500 free during the prelims and Jack Kelly set the standard in the 200 IM finals. Overall, Brown sits in fifth with 288 points.
FINALS
Berzolla placed seventh with a finish of 4:20.80 in the 500 free finals.
Kelly finished fourth in the 200-yard IM finals, clocking in at 1:44.03, breaking his record from last season in the same event.
Rowland Lawver finished second in the 1m dive with a score of 350.30.
PRELIMS
Berzolla qualified for the A finals, setting a program record with a 4:20.17 finish in the 500 free. The time was good for an NCAA B standard.
Kelly and Harrison Powe moved onto the finals in the 200-yard IM with times of 1:44.70 and 1:46.29, respectively. Jack's mark also hit the B standard.
NEXT UP
Day three begins at 11 a.m. with prelims and finals are scheduled for 6 p.m. ESPN+ has all of the action live from Cambridge.
