Women’s Water Polo Splits Day One of Bronco Invitational

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – #RV Brown (5-5) defeated Cal State East Bay 12-5 to conclude day one of the Bronco Invitational in the Sullivan Aquatic Center.
The Bears dominated against the Pioneers to shake off an 8-6 loss to No. 13 Pacific earlier in the day.
#RV BROWN DEFEATS CAL STATE EAST BAY 12-5
Brown took a 9-1 lead at the half and dominated the entire contest, led by Sarah Decker's 10 saves in goal.
Alexandra Love picked up five points, as did Claire Poissonnier. Sophie Golub was credited with three assists.
#13 PACIFIC DEFEATS #RV BROWN 8-6
Hanna Tidrenczel registered three goals, Claire Poissonnier added two and Aubrie Anderson finished with two assists. Hazuka collected seven saves in the setback.
