Lucy Adams Earns NFHCA DI Second Team All-American Honors

MANAHAWKIN, NJ – Lucy Adams was named NFHCA Division I Second Team All-American, announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Adams is the third Bear in program history to earn All-American honors, and the first since 1999. Tara Mounsey '01 earned First Team honors in 1999 and Christine Monteiro '93 earned Third Team honors in 1992.
Adams started all 17 games for the Bears and led the team with 11 assists and ranked second with 19 points. The junior earned First Team NFHCA honors, First Team All-Ivy and Ivy League All-Tournament honors.
Adams is one of 48 athletes who earned All-American honors, and one of four Ivy Leaguers, joining Princeton's Beth Yaeger, Harvard's Bronte-May Brough, and Yale's Chiara Picciafuoco.
