Women's Swimming & Diving Wins Bruno Invite With Five Victories on Day Four

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's swimming and diving won the Bruno Invitational as the Bears earned five wins on the night.
Brown started the night with Crystal Yuen finishing second in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 16:39.42.
The top two spots in the 200 backstroke went to Bears as Livia Venditti who broke the school record and won the event with a time of 1:56.41 and Jenna Reznicek was second (1:56.60).
Lily Klinginsmith found the podium in the 100 freestyle with a third-place finish (49.91).
Catherine Yu won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:13.87 and Kaitlyn Holmes finished third with a time of 2:17.80.
Zehra Bilgin's time of 1:57.22 earned her a win in the 200 butterfly.
In the 3-meter competition, Isabella George won with 283.30 points, followed by Bowie Krawczyk (272.00) and Serena Cui (265.80).
To close out the night, Brown took the top two spots in the 400 freestyle relay. Brown's "A" team of Yuen, Kelly Dolce, Klinginsmith and Bilgin took the top spot with 3:20.16 and the "B" team of Gianna Miller, Anna Podurgiel, Audrey Chung and Dana Li took second (3:24.19).
UP NEXT
Brown will be off until Jan. 14, when the Bears return to the pool against Columbia.
