Twelve Bears to Play in Dream Japan Bowl

PROVIDENCE, R.I.  Twelve former members of the Brown football team will represent the Ivy League at next week's Dream Japan Bowl in Tokyo, the Ivy League announced Thursday morning.

The game will be held on Saturday, January 20 at 11 p.m. Eastern Time (Sunday, January 21 at 1 p.m. JST locally) at the National Stadium, which was built for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

The team of Ivy League all-stars will be led by Brown head coach James Perry '00 and the Bears' coaching staff. The team consists of 52 seniors and graduate students from the Ivy League's eight institutions.

This marks the second consecutive year the Ivy League will send a team of all-stars to square off against a team from Japan. In January 2023, the Ivy League prevailed by a score of 24-20.

The 12 players representing Brown University are below. Five of the players were members of the team this past season (designated with an asterisk), while the remaining seven finished up their careers at Brown during the 2022 campaign.
