Women's Rugby Travels to Sacred Heart for NIRA Match

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's rugby team hits the road to take on the Sacred Heart Pioneers Saturday morning in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Saturday's match is slated to begin at 11 a.m. and will stream on NEC FrontRow. Both unbeaten so far, Brown took an 88-0 win over Princeton to start the season while Sacred Heart took a 31-7 win over Army.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown cruised to victory over the Tigers at Berylson Family Fields last weekend.
- Nine different Bears touched down for a try with Akilah Cathey pacing the Bears with four tries.
- Kendall Cunningham nailed nine conversions in the win.
- Sacred Heart jumped to a 26-0 lead and ultimately took a 31-7 win over Army last weekend in Fairfield,
- First-year Reese Torticill recorded three tries to pace the Pios while Alyssa Cunningham hit three conversions.
- For Sacred Heart, last weekend marked the first 15s win over Army in program history.
- Saturday marks the fifth meeting between the programs in series history. Brown holds a 3-0-1 overall record against Sacred Heart after last season's 24-24 tie at Marvel Field.
