Men's Soccer Ready for Labor Day Match Against Fairfield

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown men's soccer is looking to improve to 2-0 on the season Monday night against Fairfield at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.
Monday is Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day. Brown faculty and staff can claim up to two (2) complimentary tickets.
Scouting the Bears
The Bears and the Stags have met three times since 2011. The Bears won 3-2 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2011. The teams then faced each other in 2012 and 2014, both resulting in scoreless draws.

Scouting the Bears
- Brown opened the season with a 3-1 victory over UMass on Friday night. Senior Kojo Dadzie finished with two goals, while freshman Heechan Han found the back of the net for the first time in his career. Junior Tanner Barry tallied two assists and freshman Carlo Brown had a helper as well.
- Out of the 18 players that saw action on opening night, five were freshman. Carlo Brown and Han earned starting nods, while Lorenzo Amaral, Diego Elizalde and Iyke Dafe came off the bench and impressed.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Henrik Weiper played all 90 minutes and turned away four shots with a number of strong defensive efforts.
- Fairfield is searching for its first win of the year after dropping its first two games. The Stags first fell, 3-1, to Fairleigh Dickinson, and 1-0 to Bryant.
- Senior Joseph Stocchetti has the lone goal for Fairfield. It came in the 48th minute off an assist from classmate Raz Amir against Fairleigh Dickinson.
- Senior goalkeeper James Anderson has 10 saves this season and has played for the entirety of the first two games.
- Raz Amir was named to the preseason All-MAAC Team.
- Monday marks the first road contest for Fairfield.
