Jade Iginla Selected to Hockey Canada's National Women's Development Team

CALGARY, AB. -Â Rising sophomore Jade Iginla of the Brown women's hockey team has been selected to play for Canada's National Women's Developmental Team, the organization announced on Friday.
Iginla, who won gold at U18 Women's Worlds in 2022 or 2023, is set to join the 23-player roster comprised of three goaltenders, seven defenders and 13 forwards. The team will take to the
ice in St. Catharines during the training camp from Aug. 9-13 ahead of its three-game series against the United States from Aug. 14-20 in Lake Placid, N.Y.
From Lake County, B.C., Iginla led the Bears with 17 goals and added six assists for a team-high 23 points on her way to being named ECAC Co-Rookie of the Year.
