Women's Water Polo Falls in CWPA First Round to Saint Francis

PRINCETON, N.J. - Brown women's water polo fell 7-3 to Saint Francis in the first round of the CWPA Tournament on Friday at DeNunzio Pool at Princeton.

The Bears fell behind 3-0 at halftime and scored their first goal on a tally by Sophie Golub midway through the third quarter. A goal by Lily Weiser later in the third made it 4-2.

Brown went down 5-3 after a goal by Zoe King halfway through the final quarter but Saint Francis scored two goals late to close out the game.

Brown will take on Bucknell in the fifth-place game on Saturday (April 28) at 4 p.m.
