PHILADELPHIA – Brown wrestling saw its season come to a close Sunday afternoon on the second day of the EIWA Championships at the Palestra in Philadelphia.
Â
Sophomore Hunter Adrian wrestled in two matches on the day at 133 pounds and finished in eighth place.
Â
Adrian's first match of the day against Drexel's Kyle Waterman went down to the wire. After neither wrestler scored in the first period, Waterman took a 1-0 lead with an escape in the second. Waterman was then awarded two points early in the third, but a Brown coaches challenge overturned the call and Adrian evened the match at one to force overtime. Waterman then earned four points in OT for the win.
