Baseball Releases 2024 Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Head Baseball Coaching Chair Grant Achilles has announced the Bears' schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The schedule features 40 games, including 21 Ivy League games, 19 non-league games, and 15 home games at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium.
The 2024 campaign will kick off with three southern trips to three different states, beginning on Friday, February 23 with a three-game series in Tennessee at UT Martin. The following weekend, Brown will visit the Sunshine State for a four-game set at Stetson, and follow that up with a four-game series at Davidson from March 8-10.
The Bears will return north for a doubleheader at home against Bryant on Saturday, March 16 before playing at the Bulldogs home in Smithfield on St. Patrick's Day. Brown will host Holy Cross on Tuesday, March 19 before opening up Ivy League play the following weekend at Penn.
The team will host a season-long five-game home stand starting on Tuesday, April 2 with another in-state showdown against Bryant, before host a three-game Ivy League series against Princeton April 6-7. Brown will host in-state foe URI on Tuesday afternoon, April 9.
Brown will host two more Ivy League series at Murray Stadium when they face Columbia on April 20-21, and close out the regular season against Cornell May 4-5.
The Ivy League will hold a four-team double-elimination tournament at the conclusion of the season to determine the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The entire tournament will run from May 17-20 and be hosted by the league's No. 1 seed from the regular season.
