Woimen's Swimming Breaks 400 Medley Relay Program Record to Start Bruno Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's swimming and diving broke a program record in the 400 medley relay to start the Bruno Invitational this weekend.
The Bears closed the night with the team of Jenna Reznicek, Gillian Tu, Zehra Bilgin and Morgan Lukinac breaking the program record with a time of 3:37.69 in the 400 medley relay.
Brown started the night winning the 200 freestyle relay with the squad of Sam Scott, Tu, Reznicek and Lukinac touching the wall in 1:32.23.
The Bears took first and second in the 500 freestyle with Bilgin winning the event in 4:50.62 and Maria Iorini finishing right behind at 4:52.53.
Lily Klinginsmith had the best finish for Brown in the 200 IM with a fourth-place finish in 2:00.85
In the 50 freestyle, Brown had two swimmers tie for the win as Scott and Lukinac both finished in 22.81.
UP NEXT
Brown will continue competition in Day Two of the Bruno Invitational on Saturday (Nov. 18) with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and finals taking place at 5 p.m.
