Women's Rugby Hosts Dartmouth Sunday on Senior Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (4-2, 3-2 NIRA) close out the 2023 NIRA regular season on Senior Day Sunday against the Dartmouth Big Green (3-2, 2-1 NIRA) at Berylson Family Fields.
Sunday's game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown enters the regular season finale with a 4-2 overall record and 3-2 conference mark. The Bears have won two straight matches, taking victories over Navy and Penn State at home.
- Akilah Cathey leads the Bears with nine tries this season and is followed by Nikki Lynch (8) and Noelle Lewis (5). Kendall Cunningham leads the team with 16 conversions and one penalty kick.
- Lynch enters the weekend with a four-game try streak.
- Dartmouth enters the weekend with a 3-2 overall record and 2-1 NIRA mark. The Big Green hold NIRA wins over Army and Quinnipiac with a close loss to Harvard.
- The Big Green close out the regular season next weekend at Princeton.
- Asialeata Meni leads the Big Green with six tries this season and is followed by Katelyn Walker's five tries. Simone Bautista and Nicole Ihensekhien have four tries apiece to rank third on the team.
- Abby Kayser and Abbey Savin have split the kicking duties and enter the weekend with nine and seven conversions, respectively.
- Sunday marks the tenth meeting between Brown and Dartmouth in a series dating back to 2014. Brown holds a 2-7 record against the Big Green with a pair of wins coming in 2014.
