Women's Rugby Welcomes Penn State to College Hill

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (3-2) welcome the Penn State Nittany Lions (2-2) on Saturday (Oct. 14) at Berylson Family Fields.
Saturday's game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on College Hill and will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- The Bears enter the weekend after taking a 34-7 win over Navy at home last Saturday to get back in the win column.
- Akilah Cathey recorded two tries against the Midshipmen to pace the Bruno offense. On the season, Cathey and Nikki Lynch are tied for the team-lead with seven tries apiece.
- Sophomore Kendall Cunningham has hit 14 conversions and one penalty kick for 31 points to rank third on the team in scoring.
- Penn State enters the weekend with a 2-2 overall record with wins over Vassar and Virginia. The Nittany Lions dropped matches against Dartmouth and Life at home.
- Amelia Green and Miranda Heffelfinger recorded tries in the most recent match against Life with the latter also hitting a penalty kick.
- Brown and Penn State squared off last spring for a series of matches. The Bears took a 26-0 win in 15s before 36-5 and 22-0 victories in 7s play.
