Women's Rugby Concludes 15s Season at Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. – The Brown women's rugby team (2-5) concluded the 2025 15s season with a 32-14 loss to Dartmouth (5-2) on Saturday.
The Big Green controlled the first half, scoring four tries and one penalty kick for a 20-0 lead. However, in the second half, momentum shifted. Lily Nowak broke through Dartmouth's defense to score for the Bears in the 66th minute. Building on that energy, Laryssa Barbosa added another try, while Julia Murray's two successful conversions narrowed the gap to 14 points.
Reflecting on the match, Kathleen Flores Head Coach Rosalind Chou said, "It was an incredible match today, showing our growth over the season. Today was the lowest point total against Dartmouth on the road in 10 years. We have built an incredible foundation for the next 15s season."
Now, with the 15s season complete, the Bears set their sights on 7s play, beginning on Sunday, November 23, in Seekonk, Mass., with the Cianci 7s Tournament.
