Men's Crew Releases 2023 Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown Men's Crew Head Coaching Chair Paul Cooke has announced the 2023 schedule. The slate consists of 10 dates of competition including the IRA Championships, which takes place on June 2-4. The highlight of the season is when the Bears meet Washington and Yale at Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla. on April 1.
The season begins on March 25 against Boston University for the Michalson Cup. Whether the race will be on the Seekonk or Charles River is to be determined. Brown then heads to Sarasota for the Sunshine State Invitational where they will meet Yale and Washington. The winner between the Bears and Bulldogs will win the Albert Cup.
From there, Brown races at Harvard for the Stein Cup (April 8), home against Northeastern for the Dreissigacker Cup (April 15), at Dartmouth for the Atalanta Cup (April 22) and at Princeton for the Content Cup (April 29).
Eastern Sprints is next (May 14) before the three-day IRA Championship (June 2-4) where Brown will compete for the national championship.
