JJ Addison named Associate Head Coach for men's and women's water polo

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Head Coaching Chair for Water Polo, Felix Mercado, has announced that JJ Addison has been promoted to Associate Head Coach.
Addison has been with the men's and women's water polo programs at Brown since 2016-17 and had helped guide the Bears to the sustained success the programs continue to have.
"I am super excited to promote JJ Addison to Associate Head Coach of both programs and I want to thank all involved from our athletic administration to make this possible," said Mercado. "This is a win/win for our programs but most importantly for our student athletes. JJ provides a great balance in and out of the pool that the student athletes enjoy and thrive in. I'm excited to see how this help our programs compete for championships- athletically and academically as well as community service projects"
With Addison on the staff, the men's program has had four 20-win seasons and the women have had three 20-win seasons, including a program-record 25 wins last spring.
