Ilias Stothart named NWPC Rookie of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown water polo's Ilias Stothart has been named Rookie of the Week for the Northeast Water Polo Conference on Thursday, Sept. 15. Stothart received the honor after leading the Bears in scoring as Brown went 2-0 last week.
Stothart finished the week with the seven goals, scoring four against Long Island and three against MIT. The freshman also drew three penalties and one exclusion, while collecting one steal.Â
On the season, Stothart now leads Brown 18 goals, 16 exclusions drawn and 15 penalties drawn.Â
Stothart and the rest of the Bears will continue play, heading out on the road for the first time this year with three games in California this weekend.Â
