Eighteen Gymnasts Earn WCGA Academic Honors

ITHACA, N.Y. – Eighteen Brown University gymnasts earned Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) All-America Scholar-Athlete Awards. The team also received recognition, ranking in the top 20 in Team GPA.
To qualify for scholar athlete awards, individuals must have an overall grade point average or a 3.5 GPA for 2021-22. The team GPA is at least 3.5 to receive team recognition.
Abby Walsh, Angela Xing, Lauren Kramer, Lauren McKeown, Maya Davis, Mei Li Costa and Sophia Petrillo ranked atop the individual list. Also earning special recognition were Alyssa Gardner, McKenna Weiner, Abby Contello, Safiya Miller, Lara Swords, Asta-Sollilja Farrell, Jasmine Lee, Paige Richter, Carolanne Van Zandt, Ali Lowe and Charlotte Introcaso.
