
Choh invited to Summer League training camp with Houston Rockets

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Tamenang Choh '21 M '22 has received and accepted an offer to participate in Summer League training camp with the Houston Rockets. The camp began June 30 and runs up until the first Summer League game on July 7 in Las Vegas.
The Rockets will play the first game of the summer against the Orlando Magic on July 7 at 10 p.m. Houston will also take on the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, and Portland Trailblazers. League play runs from July 7-15, with a Championship Game between the two teams with the best records taking place on July 17. Games can be viewed across ESPN platforms as well as NBA TV.
A three-time team captain and three-time All-Ivy Second Team selection, Choh finished his career at Brown with 1,322 points, the 11th most in program history. His 856 rebounds and 319 assists rank sixth and ninth respectively in the Bears' record books.
During the 2021-22 season, Choh led the team with 14.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. His 30 points versus Yale on Jan. 17 and 21 rebounds against Bryant on Nov. 26 were both career-highs.
The Rockets are currently led by head coach Stephen Silas '96. Silas was a four-year member of the Brown men's basketball team from 1992-96.
