RICHMOND, Va. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) recognized both the Brown men's and women's swimming & diving programs as Scholar All-America Teams, the association announced on Monday. Both programs received the recognition for their 2022 spring grade point average.
The men's swimming and diving program finished the spring with the fourth-highest GPA in NCAA Division I, while the women's swimming and diving program finished with the fifth-highest GPA.
"Coaches Kevin Norman and Kate Kovenock have both developed model programs in the pool and in the classroom," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany.
In total, 731 teams were selected to be CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2022 semester.
