Six wrestlers earn EIWA Academic Achievement Award

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Six Brown wrestling student-athletes have received EIWA Academic Achievement Awards, as announced by the association. Brown's honorees include Nicky Cabanillas, Ricky Cabanillas, Drew Clearie, Timothy Levine, Keegan Rothrock, and Cade Wilson.
Requirements for the award include achieving a cumulative 3.2 GPA and participating in the EIWA Tournament or achieving a cumulative 3.0 GPA and qualifying for the NCAA Championship through the EIWA.
All six Brown wrestlers participated in the EIWA Tournament with Nicky Cabanillas earning the top finish among the six, taking eighth place at 133.
A total of 105 student-athletes from 17 institutions earned recognition for their academic accomplishments.
