Six Top 10 Marks in Program History Highlight Day Two at UConn

RESULTS
STORRS, Conn. – Brown concluded the UConn Northeast Challenge with a third-place finish on the women's side and a fifth-place showing on the men's end at the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex.
The women posted 77.5 points to finish third of 19 and the men recorded 51 points to place fifth of 22.
Kendra Ezeama won the shot put with a PR toss of 14.47m (47'5.75). The mark was good for eighth in program history and gives Ezeama two top 10 marks in the record books.
Daniel Sarisky placed third in the 100m dash and fifth in the 200m dash. His 10.65 in the 100 and 21.52 mark in the 200, rank seventh and eighth (tied) in program history in the respective events.
Nate Price finished second in the 5000 with a time of 14:41.92. Brooklyn Manna and Lauren Stern shined in the long jump with top 10 finishes. Manna was second with a leap of 5.88m and Stern placed sixth at 5.67m.
Brooke Ury finished fourth in the 100m hurdles at 14.22, the ninth-fastest mark in Brown history. Maddie Frey posted several top-five finishes, highlighted by her 24.38 mark in the 200 and 56.34 performance in the 400m dash. Both were good for fourth with the 200m dash mark ranking ninth in program history. She was also on the 4x100m relay team that finished third (47.45), along with Jaiden Stokes, Cecilia Marrinan, and Arielle Desir.
Lily Dumas and Numan Maloney were seventh in the high jump at 1.65m, with Dumas' mark following Chiamaka Odenigbo's fourth-place performance in the same event.
Zach Love was seventh in the long jump at 7.02m.
Anjoli Mathew and Desir had sixth-place finishes in the 400m hurdles (1:03.42) and 200m dash (24.51), respectively. Sydney Scott was seventh in the 100m dash (12.09) and eighth in the 200m dash (24.65).
The women's 4x400 relay team of Sophia Gallucci, Mathew, Mya Collins and Desir placed sixth at 3:57.72.
The men's 4x400m relay team of Jack Kelley, Kevin Boyce, Tyler Nevala and Sarisky finished seventh at 3:17.09.
Marcus Gillespie posted a seventh-place finish in the 110m hurdles (14.99).
Jono Pelusi won the pole vault and 1500 in the decathlon day two events and finished with 6,428 points. It is the seventh most points in a decathlon by a Brown student-athlete.
