Men's Lacrosse Cracks Top-20 in Weekly Polls

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After taking wins over Villanova (Mar. 1) and Providence (Mar. 5) in the last week, the Brown Bears (4-1, 0-0 Ivy League) have cracked the top-20 in both major polls.
The Bears are 16th per the USILA Coaches Poll and 19th per the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
This season's squad has received votes in both polls each week and hold wins over two programs that were receiving votes at the time of the game. Brown is one of five Ivy League schools in the rankings.
Brown's lone loss came at seventh-ranked North Carolina, falling 14-11 to the Tar Heels on Wednesday, February 23.
Brown hosts Stony Brook on Saturday (Mar. 12) at Stevenson-Pincince Field for a 1 p.m. faceoff. The Seawolves enter Saturday with a 4-1 record and are receiving votes in both polls. Click here to purchase tickets.
