
O’Kane Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Sophomore Brady O'Kane of the Brown men's lacrosse team has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, the Ivy League announced on Monday afternoon.
O'Kane helped Brown overcome a seven-goal second half deficit to defeat Dartmouth 17-16 in overtime on Saturday with a career-high five goals, the West Chester, Pa. native also had one assist and two ground balls in the Bears' first Ivy League win of the season.
O'Kane scored four out of his five goals in the fourth quarter and overtime, the sophomore's fourth goal of the game tied the game at 15 in the fourth quarter, before his final goal of the game was the game-winning goal.
His six points and 11 shots also matched a career-high, O'Kane has scored at least one goal in six-straight games and has 13 goals during this stretch.
O'Kane and the Bears will return to action on Saturday, Apr. 18 to face Penn, the opening face-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans can purchase tickets here.
