Sailing claims top two spots at Camel Invite, three other top finishes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown coed sailing team claimed first and second place at the Camel Fleet Race hosted by Connecticut College over the weekend. The Bears also claimed a second, third, and sixth place finish across three other events.
At the Camel Fleet Race, one Brown team finished in first in Division A by a wide margin and fourth in Division B to claim the overall win. A second boat tied for third in Division A and won Division B to take second place overall.
At Harvard's Team Race Invite, the Bears took second out of eight teams with a team made up of Brielle Willoughby, Emily Mueller, Blaire McCarthy, Caroline Bayless, Emilia Ruth, Francesca Edmonds, Savannah Young, and Nora Ong.
Brown finished in third at the Gieger Team Race at MIT. William George, Jed Bell, Thomas Styron, Lily Shore, Menasha Leport, and Olivia Miller represented the Bears.
Wrapping up the weekend, the Bears finished sixth out of 16 teams at the Graham Hall Team Race at Navy. Brown's team was made up of Olivia Belda, Jack Murphy, Connor Nelson, Hunter Zonnenberg, Emma Montgomery, Madeleine McGrath, and Julia Reynolds.
The women's team will resume action at Tufts this weekend, while the coed team will compete at four different events from March 26-27.
