Women's tennis just edged out by Boston University

BOSTON – The Brown women's tennis team fell to Boston University 4-3 in a tight match Saturday afternoon in Boston.
"Even though the final score didn't go our way," head coach Lucie Schmidhauser said. "I was happy with the way the team competed, especially in singles. We are still too inconsistent in our execution in doubles.
"Sophia Reddy and Ali Benedetto did a great job finding a way to make their opponents uncomfortable in their singles wins. If we can keep the same level of competitive energy and emotional control moving forward, we will be able to keep improving technical and strategic skills at a much faster rate."
Ali Benedetto, Sophia Reddy, and Olivia Mariotti were all able to earn victories in singles for the Bears. Britany Lau took her match to a third set, but just wasn't able to come out on top in the end.
