Gymnastic Earns No. 3 Seed for Inaugural Championship Meet

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown gymnastics program has earned the No. 3 seed for Saturday's inaugural Gymnastics East Conference Championship, which will be hosted by Brown at the Pizzitola Sports Center. By securing a top four seed, the Bears will compete in the evening session starting at 6 p.m., while the No. 5-8 seeds will compete in the afternoon session at 1 p.m.

Tickets for both sessions are on sale now. The first session will get underway at 1 p.m. with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. The second session is slated for a 6 p.m. start with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
All seats for the event are reserved. Fans wishing to attend both the afternoon and evening sessions must purchase separate tickets for both sessions. There are no all-session packages available for the event. The gym will be cleared after the conclusion of the first session and doors will reopen at 5:30 p.m. for spectators with tickets for the second session.

The Bears are coming off the latest in a strong stretch of performances at two meets this past weekend, highlighted by Sunday's 194.675 score effort in a quad meet at UNH. The Bears set a new program record on vault of 48.925, and also set season-highs on bars and beam.
