Men's swimming and diving has strong performance at Boston Winter Open

BOSTON – Brown men's swimming and diving finished up its regular season with a strong performance at the Boston Winter Open.
Finlay Page picked up the first win of the meet for the Bears in the 500 free with a time of 4:37.73.
The Bears owned the 50 freestyle finishing in the top four spots. Daniel Alber won the event with a time of 20.76. He was followed by Marcus Lee (21.01), Jerry O'Mara (21.02) and Nick Clark (21.02).
Brown's team of Nathan Depiero, O'Mara, Lee and Alber won the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:01.36. Chris Ma, Billy Knaul, Kaan Kilinc and Alex Park finished second with a time of 3:04.57.
The top three times in the 100 butterfly were swam by Brown with Ma winning the event in 48.69 seconds. Depiero was second (48.92) and Alber was third (49.76).
Lee won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:38.45, followed by teammates Depiero (1:39.33), O'Mara (1:40.39) and Page (1:40.82).
Nick Clark picked up a win in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 56.24 and Alex Park took third, touching the wall in 57.11.
In the 100 backstroke, Billy Knaul won the event with a time of 48.95. Kilinc took third with a time of 50.74.
Brown took the first three spots in the 200 medley relay with the team of O'Mara, Clark, Ma and Lee winning the race in a time of 1:31.19.
Lee, O'Mara, Knaul and Alber teamed for a win in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:23.52.
The top three spots in the 100 freestyle belonged to Brown with Lee winning in 44.68. Alber was second with a time of 45.89 and O'Mara was third with a time of 45.92.
Clark earned another win, this one in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:03.05.
Ma was first in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:48.90 and Depiero was second with a time of 1:49.69.
