Women's lacrosse set to take on #1 Boston College

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will host No. 1 Boston College this Saturday, Feb. 26 at 3:30 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
The Bears are coming off a loss to Hofstra in their most recent outing, while the 2021 National Champion Eagles are off to a fast to their season, already 4-0 with four convincing victories
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince field. Brown Athletics has moved to completely contactless ticketing, so fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

Scouting the Bears (1-1, 0-0 IVY)
- Claire Jeschke has a team-high nine points through two games coming from three goals and six assists. She is also second on the team with eight draw controls. Jackie Mason is off to a fast start as well as the sophomore has a team-high four goals.
- In Brown's last game against Bryant, Leah Caputo led the squad with two goals and one assist.
- Erin Tucker has started both games in goal for the Bears, making 20 saves for a .465 save percentage. Erin Schafer's five ground balls and two caused turnovers both lead the team.
- In each of BC's four wins, the Eagles have scored at least 18 goals and have won by no fewer than seven. Three of those victories came against ranked opponents.
- Charlotte North's 24 goals and 26 points both lead the team, while Caitlynn Mossman's seven assists are a team high.
- Rachel Hall has posted a .373 save percentage in four starts for the Eagles in goal. Her 9.67 goals against average is in the top 25 in the country.
- Brown holds the all-time series lead over BC at 18-11 with the Bears' last win coming in 2006.
- The last time these two teams met was in 2020. Brown tied the game at eight midway through the second half on a Maggie Fowler goal, but the Eagles would end up pulling away late for the 13-10 victory.
