QUOTES FROM THE COACH: MELANIE RUZZI
- "They've just gotten better and better every game. All we asked of them for this weekend was to have fun and play for each other. Doyle stepped up once again and made some fantastic saves. The power play stepped up and made some things happen. But ultimately, it's our seniors. Our seniors are magical. You may not see them on the scoresheet today, but they were all over that game and played their very best game."
- "Our seniors have been our leaders, without needing any coaching of it. They love this program and they love each other. They taught the younger kids about care and details. I think they led the way in terms of our values of trust, gratitude and grit."
- "We missed the playoffs which is really unfortunate, but I look at the first half of the season and where our team was then compared to now, for a young team that is expected to grow, and if we had the opportunity to make it, you never know. We had a signature win against Yale and another one against Quinnipiac. I'm not saying it would have happened, but we have the ability. I'm proud the seniors had this game to end the season for them."
