
Weiper named Ivy Rookie of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Henrik Weiper of the Brown men's soccer team has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday. Weiper helped to lead Brown to an undefeated week, going 1-0-1 across its two games.
In a 1-0 win over Boston College, Weiper made four saves to earn the program's first ACC victory since 2013. Then against Harvard, the freshman stopped three shots to earn the scoreless draw and pick up his league-leading fifth shutout of the season.
Weiper's .89 goals against average is the second-best mark in the conference, while his .805 save percentage leads the league.
The Bears travel to Penn this Saturday, Oct. 22 for a 5 p.m. matchup.
