Men's soccer set to host Niagara

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's soccer team will host Niagara this Saturday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field.

Both sides will be looking to bounce back after losses in their previous games. Brown fell to Bryant 4-2 on Wednesday, while the Purple Eagles dropped a 2-0 decision to Syracuse.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Brown Athletics has moved to completely contactless ticketing, so fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

What to Know About Brown (1-1-0):

The Bears have scored four goals over their first two games. Derek Waleffe scored twice in the season opener, but he did not see action in the second game.
Will Crain and Malcolm Johnson shared the team lead of two assists each.
Taha Kina scored his first collegiate goal against Bryant to give Brown a 1-0 lead to start that game.

What to Know About Niagara (1-3-0):

The Purple Eagles' three losses on the year have come against Syracuse, Utah Valley (2-1), and California Riverside (3-0). Their lone win came in a 2-1 decision over Binghamton.
Three different players are responsible for Niagara's three goals and Herman Aalberg leads the team with two assists.
Nick Burke and Josh Savoni have split time evenly in goal, with both posting a 2.00 goals against average and Burke leading the team with a .789 save percentage.
