
Mann ’15 Competes at U.S. Olympic Trials

EUGENE, Ore. - Brown University track & field alum and current volunteer coach Jordan Mann '15 competed in the 3000m Steeplechase at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Monday night. Mann, running for New Balance, finished 12th in his heat with a time of 8:54.09.
Originally joining the Brown program as a walk-on, Mann persevered through injuries to excel in the sport and become a top runner. As a junior in 2014, he took second in the 3000m run at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships. He also placed third at the 2015 Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 5000m run. Mann finished up his collegiate eligibility at nearby Providence College where he qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3000m steeplechase and finished 16th, earning Second Team All-American honors.
