Four Brown Wrestlers Set to Compete at U.S. Junior Nationals

CORALVILLE, Iowa – Brown University freshman wrestlers Hunter Adrian, Timothy Levine, Keegan Rothrock, and Blake Saito are set to compete at USA Wrestling's 2021 United World Wrestling (UWW) Junior and Senior Nationals at the Xtream Arena from April 30 to May 2.
Adrian (Melrose, Mass.), Levine (Costa Mesa, Calif.), Rothrock (Bellefonte, Pa.), and Saito (Powell, Ohio) will compete at 57 kg, 61 kg, 74 kg, and 70 kg in men's freestyle respectively.
Prior to Brown, Adrian won four Massachusetts state titles, Levine placed at the California State Championships, Rothrock placed twice at the Pennsylvania State Championships, and Saito placed three times at the Ohio State Championships.
The champion in men's freestyle and Greco-Roman for the UWW Junior Nationals will represent Team USA at the UWW Junior World Championships in Ufa, Russia on August 16-22. The UWW Junior Nationals will also have qualifying implications for both the Pan-American Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Pan-American Games in Cali, Colombia.
Junior freestyle competition begins on Saturday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. ET with preliminaries and consolations. Competition continues on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. ET with quarterfinals, semifinals, and consolations. On Sunday, May 2, wrestling will resume at 11:00 a.m. ET with consolations, third, fifth, and seventh-place matches. The best 2-of-3 finals will take place on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
