4/12/2021 10:15:00 AM | Women's Sailing, Coed Sailing
Brown University athletics will be recognizing its spring senior student-athletes throughout the months of March, April, May, and June. Senior student-athletes will be featured during the week on Brownbears.com and various social media platforms.
Â
Name: Annabelle Hutchinson
Hometown: Annapolis, Md.
Sport: Sailing
Concentration: Economics and Classics
Â
Accomplishment you are most proud of:
I'm most proud of being on the national championship-winning women's team in 2019. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be sailing with the best women in the country, and it was a real team effort that would not have been possible without the talent and passion of my teammates and the dedication of my coach.
Â
Plans after graduation:
I will be working as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan in NYC. There are many Brown sailing alumni in NYC, so I'm excited to reconnect with them and continue racing whenever I can.
Â
Favorite spot on campus:
My favorite spot on campus is the Watson Institute, which has the best study rooms around. But off campus, the best spot is Dave's Coffee!
Â
Favorite activity outside of your sport:
I'm a staff writer for the Brown Political Review which has been an incredible experience. BPR is one of the biggest organizations on campus, so it's a great way to meet new people and get writing published!
