
Waleffe named to United Soccer Coaches All-Northeast Region Third Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Derek Waleffe of the Brown men's soccer team has been named to United Soccer Coaches All-Northeast Region Third Team, as announced by the association.
This is Waleffe's first career All-Region selection. The Madison, Wis. native was also named to the All-Ivy First Team for the first time this season.
Waleffe led the team in both goals (8) and points (17) on the season with both numbers also being career highs. Two of his goals went down as game-winners, at Hartford and Columbia.
In his career, Waleffe has recorded 14 goals and three assists for 31 points, four game winning goals, and has made 36 starts in his 44 games played.
