- The Bears had 17 assists as a team against the Pioneers, their third-highest total of the season and the most against a DI opponent. Kimo Ferrari had five in the game and Kino Lilly Jr. had four.
- Merrimack has lost a couple of tough games its last two times out. The Warriors led by as many as 12 against Boston University and were up by four with under a minute remaining, but a Terrier three with two seconds on the clock gave BU the victory. Against the River Hawks, Merrimack had a 14-point second-half lead, but a 13-2 run over the final five minutes for Lowell sank the Warriors.
- Jordan Minor leads the team in points per game (13.9), rebounds (7.0), and blocks (2.4).
- As a team, the Warriors are only scoring 57.1 points per game, but are keeping their opponents to just 58.1.

- Brown is also undefeated against Vermont, having faced the Catamounts only twice in program history and not since 2001. The first meeting was an 83-72 win in 1970, followed by an 82-58 triumph in the first game of the 2001-02 season.
- The Bears did play an exhibition to kick off the 2019-20 season when UVM retired the number of Brown associate head coach T.J. Sorrentine, an '05 Catamount grad. Vermont won 70-59.
- Friday's game will be the first time Sorrentine has coached against his alma mater in a regular season contest.
- Sorrentine remains the Catamounts' third leading scorer of all-time with 2,013 career points.
