Piovan and Penner named ACWPC All-American Honorable Mention

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's water polo had two players named to the ACWPC Division I All-American Team. Both Andrew Penner and Ugo Piovan were named Honorable Mention for the Bears.
Penner and Piovan were instrumental in helping the Bears earn a third-place finish in the NWPC Tournament, beating Harvard in the third-place game. The win over Harvard was the first for the Bears since 2018 against the Crimson.
Penner finished the season with 46 goals and drew a team-high 57 exclusions. Penner also finished the season with six assists and eight steals.
Piovan was the leading goaltender for the Bears, compiling 223 blocks on the year. Piovan added 16 steals and two assists on the season.
