
Water polo has three players earn NWPC All-Conference

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's water polo had three players named to the 2021 NWPC All-Conference Team, the league announced on Saturday (Nov. 20). Filip Aleksic was named Sophomore of the Year after leading the Bears in scoring.
Aleksic led the Bears with 107 points finishing the season with 50 goals and leading the team with 54 assists. Aleksic was also tops on the team with 28 steals. For his efforts, Aleksic was also named Second Team All-NWPC.
Andrew Penner was voted First Team All-NWPC. Penner finished the year with 46 goals and drew a team-high 57 exclusions. Penner also tallied six assists and eight steals.
Ugo Piovan earned a nod to the Second Team All-NWPC as the goalie for the second team. Piovan led the team with 223 blocks. In the first round of the NWPC Tournament, Piovan finished with 15 blocks.
