Wrestlings earns five top-six finishes at Binghamton Open

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Brown wrestling team opened its season at the Binghamton Open on Sunday, Nov. 14. The Bears put together five top-six finishes, including a pair of third-place finishes by Lear Quinton and Justin Bierdumpfel.

Quinton won two matches in the 285-pounbd weight class to advance to the semifinals and take third place. Bierdumpfel had three wins in the 141-pound weight class to also make the semifinals and claim third.

Brown also had top finishes in the 125, 157, and 197-pound weight classes. Hunter Adrian took fourth at 125, Jack Bokina came in sixth at 157 and Cade Wilson did the same at 197.
